Income statement in Panama 2023

The deadline to submit your personal tax return is March 15 and for companies on March 31, 2023.

Any tax resident in Panama who has additional income from salary or representation expenses, as well as companies, are required to submit an income statement, including offshore companies.

In case of not presenting them on the indicated dates, fines, interest and surcharges established in the Panamanian tax code will be incurred. This in turn indicates that a 30-day extension can be submitted for each type of person (natural or legal) to avoid the fine, but it does not exempt surcharges and interest for late payment of income taxes, business license or others.
